Crafting Creativity Through Tales & Book Contribution
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at M.E.S Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, successfully conducted an extension activity titled "Crafting Creativity Through Tales & Book Contribution" at G.U.P.S Tribal School, Kottathara, on 29th November 2024. The initiative aimed to foster creativity among school students through storytelling sessions and enhance their learning resources by donating books.The extension activity successfully promoted literacy and creativity among the students of G.U.P.S Tribal School. The storytelling session helped enhance their communication and imaginative skills, while the book contribution initiative provided them with much-needed reading materials. The event also strengthened the college’s commitment to community service and education outreach.

He introduced participants to various research techniques, data collection methods, and analytical tools, helping them develop a structured approach to media research.The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Lakshmi R.S., Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, who emphasized the importance of research in media studies and encouraged students to actively engage in scholarly pursuits.The workshop featured interactive discussions, hands-on exercises, and practical demonstrations, making it a highly engaging and informative session for all attendees. The resource person for the event was Mr. Rishad Ali, Founder & Director of Ybrands. He shared his expertise on AI-driven marketing strategies, automation in advertising, and data-driven branding techniques that are transforming the digital landscape. The session covered practical applications of AI in content creation, audience targeting, and campaign optimization, offering students a comprehensive understanding of AI’s impact on digital branding.he event was hosted by Parvathy P.K., a final-year student, who skillfully coordinated the session. The welcome address was delivered by Nashariya, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, who highlighted the significance of integrating AI technologies into modern media practices. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Deepak Das, the second-year class representative.The workshop was highly interactive and informative, with students actively participating in discussions and exploring new possibilities in AI-powered branding.
