Setting Our Quality Standards

 Introduction

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in the college following the first cycle of accreditation during 2003–2004. Since its inception, the IQAC has been instrumental in promoting and sustaining quality enhancement across all academic and administrative processes of the institution. It plays a vital role in planning, decision-making, and the effective implementation of initiatives related to academic excellence, teaching–learning practices, research, and infrastructure development. Through systematic monitoring and continuous evaluation, the IQAC ensures the alignment of institutional activities with quality benchmarks and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the college.

Objectives

To develop a system of conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

To assure all the stake holders connected with higher education about the quality of education provided by the institutions.

Functions

To develop, implement, and continuously review quality benchmarks and parameters for academic and administrative activities of the institution.

To disseminate timely and relevant information related to quality standards and best practices in higher education among stakeholders.

To ensure systematic documentation of all programmes and activities that contribute to quality enhancement and institutional development.

To function as the nodal agency of the institution for coordinating, monitoring, and promoting all quality-related initiatives.

To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC in accordance with prescribed quality parameters and guidelines.
