Students Grievance Redressal Cell

Students grievances are given due consideration by the college and as such the grievances are being addressed by the Grievance redressal cell. It is constituted in line with UGC (Grievance Redressal of Students) Regulations, 2023. The cell addresses all kinds of grievances of students related to admission, fees, examination, scholarships, issue of certificates, provision of amenities, etc.

Students Grievance Redressal Cell Policy
  • To facilitate a thorough and systematic approach to grievance redressal, the college has implemented a multi-tiered system with various access points for students. This system ensures that students can voice their concerns without fear of reprisal, and that their complaints are addressed with appropriate measures, fostering a sense of confidence and trust.
  • For internal evaluation issues, students can address their concerns at five levels: their course teacher, tutor, Head of Department, and Principal. For external assessment matters, a three- tier process is in place, involving the department, grievance redressal cell, and college principal, with the option of escalating to the university if necessary. This process helps us identify and rectify any shortcomings in our policies and operations.
  • Students can initially approach their class tutor for grievances, or the Head of Department, or any faculty involved in specific cells or clubs if their issue is related to them. If they believe their concerns are not adequately resolved, they may escalate the issue to the grievance committee, vice principal, or principal.
  • Complaints can be submitted directly to the grievance cell, and online submissions can be made through college website. The College Grievance Redressal Committee has been updated in accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations for Grievance Redressal of Students.
  • This structure ensures a robust mechanism for addressing and resolving student grievances as per the latest UGC regulations.
