" MES Kalladi College has MoUs with international universities including UNISBA (Indonesia), UiT MARA (Malaysia), and Golden State College (Philippines) to support academic and research collaboration. Students participated in the International Student Mobility Programme at UNISBA in 2025, and international students study on campus through the Study in India initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. "

International Delegation Visit

" A delegation from MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, held discussions with senior officials of the University of Bandung (UNISBA), Indonesia. UNISBA was represented by Dr. Ratna Januarita (Vice Rector), Dr. Nunung Nurhayati (Dean), and Mrs. Siska Na Irasanti (Head of International Affairs). MES Kalladi College was represented by Dr. C. Rajesh (Principal), Dr. T.K. Jaleel (Vice Principal), and Shihab A.M. (Head, Department of Islamic History). The MES Kalladi delegation is currently in Indonesia as part of the MoU with UNISBA. "

Placement Drive

MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a Job Fair in association with G-TEC Education, creating a dynamic platform for employment opportunities and industry interaction. The event attracted over 500 job seekers, showcasing strong participation and enthusiasm among candidates. Around 45 companies from diverse sectors participated, offering a wide range of career opportunities. The recruitment drive was highly successful, with 89 candidates securing placements in various organizations. Additionally, more than 300 students were shortlisted for further selection processes, reflecting the quality and potential of the participants. The Job Fair enabled direct engagement between employers and candidates, facilitating recruitment, skill evaluation, and career awareness. This initiative demonstrates the college’s commitment to enhancing student employability and building strong industry connections.

MESKCON -2026

MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, has taken significant steps toward global academic engagement through strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with reputed international institutions such as Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA)- Indonesia, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)- Malaysia, and Golden State College-Philippines. These collaborations aim to strengthen academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and cross-cultural learning opportunities for both students and faculty. As part of this initiative, students of MES Kalladi College actively participated in the International Student Mobility Programme hosted by UNISBA in 2025. The programme provided a valuable platform for students to experience diverse academic environments, engage in intercultural interactions, and enhance their global perspectives. Such international partnerships reflect the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and global exposure, enabling students to broaden their knowledge beyond traditional classroom learning. The college continues to foster these collaborations to prepare students for a competitive and interconnected world..

Innovation Expo

The “Innovation Expo” was a vibrant event organized by all departments of the college to showcase and celebrate the creativity and innovative ideas of students. The expo provided a dynamic platform for students to present unique projects, models, and concepts across various disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking. Students from nearby schools were invited to visit the exhibition, giving them an opportunity to explore diverse ideas and gain inspiration from the creative works on display. The interaction between participants and visitors added to the overall learning experience and enthusiasm of the event. The expo witnessed active participation from students and faculty, making it a lively and engaging experience. The exhibits reflected originality, problem-solving skills, and a spirit of innovation among the students. Overall, the “Innovation Expo” was a great success, fostering creativity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, while strengthening the connection between the college and the wider student community.

Beloved Teachers Award

The “Beloved Teachers Award” was organized by MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, to honor beloved teachers from nearby schools. What makes this award unique is that the recipients were selected directly by the students of the college, based on their admiration, respect, and lasting impact on their lives. The initiative aimed to recognize teachers who have gone beyond academics to inspire, guide, and support students in meaningful ways. The award ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, creating a heartfelt atmosphere of gratitude and celebration. Extension Programme on Broadcast Journalism and News Presentation - JMC 2026

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication conducted an extension programme at KAHHSS Kottopadam on 24 June 2026 as part of its outreach initiatives. The programme included an introductory session on broadcast journalism, aimed at familiarizing Higher Secondary students with the fundamentals of news presentation and electronic media. As part of the programme, a News Presentation Competition was organized for the students. The event was inaugurated by the School Principal, Mr. M. P. Sadik. Department coordinators Dr. Vishnu K. J. and Ms. Nashariya K. coordinated the programme. A newsroom-style setup was arranged to provide participants with a realistic news presentation experience. The students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating confidence and creativity throughout the competition.

Yoga Training Programme

The Yoga Training Programme for Students was conducted on 22 June 2026 under the guidance of yoga trainers in psychology department with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and stress management among students. The session included demonstrations and practice of basic yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), relaxation techniques, and mindfulness practices.

Newsletter Release on Environmental Awareness - JMC 2026

As part of World Environment Day observance, students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Honours created a newsletter to spread awareness about environmental conservation. The newsletter featured fictional future news reports highlighting the possible consequences of environmental degradation. The newsletter was released by Principal Prof. Dr. Jasmine P. M. in the presence of Vice Principal Dr. T. K. Jaleel.

I am happy to share my feedback about the Department of Computer Applications. The department has dedicated and experienced faculty who support and guide students in both academics and personal growth. Their friendly approach makes it easy to learn and clarify doubts. The curriculum is well-designed, providing a strong foundation in both theory and practical knowledge. The department also encourages participation in seminars, workshops, and other activities that help improve skills and confidence. The lab facilities and learning resources are good, with ongoing efforts to keep them updated with current technology. The department also maintains a positive environment that motivates students to learn and grow. Overall, the Department of Computer Applications played an important role in my academic journey and helped me build the skills needed for my future career. I am thankful for the support and guidance I received.

Nisha Krishnadas

I am Nisha Krishnadas, and I am grateful for the opportunity to complete my Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at this college as part of the first batch of 2014. Being a member of the first batch was a unique and memorable experience, and I feel proud to have been part of this journey. The faculty members were supportive, knowledgeable, and always ready to guide us. I would like to express my special thanks to our HOD, Sreevidya Ma’am, for her constant care, encouragement, and support throughout the course. Her dedicated efforts and guidance played a key role in making the first batch a huge success. The syllabus covered important topics, and the practical sessions helped us understand concepts clearly. The college also provided a positive learning environment and opportunities to participate in various activities, which improved our confidence and skills. Thank you

Mr. Ranjith Karat

M Com (2011-2013)

Mr. Ranjith Karat serves as an Assistant Professor and Functional Head of the Department of Data Analytics and Operations at LEAD College (Autonomous), Dhoni, Palakkad. His research focuses on contrarian investment strategies within the Indian stock market. He is currently a research scholar in the Department of Business Administration at the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, Kochi. He holds an M.Com from the University of Calicut and an MBA in Big Data Analytics from Mizoram University. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Junior Financial Executive at Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. With over 13 years of teaching and research experience, Mr. Karat specializes in delivering courses in Quantitative Techniques, Operations Research, and Data Analytics. He currently holds two patents in the area of stock market studies. An expert in Vedic Mathematics, he also trains students for KMAT and CMAT aptitude examinations. His research publications have appeared in ABDC-, WoS-, and UGC-listed journals.

My name is Minna Navas, and I completed my B.Com in Computer Application from MES Kalladi College (2023–2026). My experience at the college has been very positive and memorable. The faculty members were supportive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help students. The college provided a good learning environment along with various opportunities for academic and personal growth. The infrastructure and facilities were also well-maintained. I gained valuable knowledge and skills during my time here. I am grateful to the college for shaping my career and future.
