Award

- Students are paid enrolment/registration fees, tuition fees, games fee, union fee, library fees, magazine fees, Medical Examination and such other fees compulsorily payable by the scholar to the Institution or University/Board. The maximum fee ceiling for reimbursement of ‘Compulsory Non-refundable Fees’ for Postmatric Scholarship is Rs.1.50 lakh per annum. Refundable deposits like caution money, security deposit will, however, be excluded.

3.Post
graduate scholarship
for single girl child
–Eligibility
details
- Girl students who are admitted in the first year of PG courses in the Universities/Institutions/Colleges included under section 2(f) & and 12(B) of UGC Act.
- Girl students without having any brother or the girl student who are twin daughters/ fraternal daughter may also apply for scholarship under the aforesaid scheme.
- Applicable to such single girl child who has taken admission in regular, fulltime first year Masters Degree course in any designated university or a post graduate college.
- Amount of fellowship: Rs.36,200/- p.a. for a period of two years only i.e. full duration of a PG course. The scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of renewal.
- Students failing to get promoted to the next class/ level would forfeit the scholarship.
- Change in course of study will not be permitted. If the awardee changes the course of study, the scholarship will stand forfeited from the date of such a change.

- The First and Second Rank holders at undergraduate level and admitted in any Postgraduate Course would be awarded the scholarship.
- The scholarship is available to the student for first PG Degree only
- The Undergraduate courses from following streams have been identified for the award of scholarships: 1.Life Sciences 2. Physical Sciences 3. Chemical Sciences 4. Earth Sciences 5. Mathematical Sciences 6. Social Sciences 7. Commerce 8. Languages.
- Tenure of scholarship : Two years
- Amount of fellowship: Rs.3,100/- p.m for a period of two years only i.e. full duration of a PG course.

Central
sector scheme of
scholarship-Eligibility
details
- Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
- Not availing benefit of any other scholarship schemes including State run scholarship schemes/ fee waiver & reimbursement scheme.
- Students with gross parental/family income upto Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for scholarship under the scheme.
- The rate of scholarship is Rs.12,000/-per annum at Graduation level for first three years of College and Rs.20,000/-per annum at PostGraduation level.
- Students pursuing professional courses, in case, where the duration of course is five (5) years/Integrated course will get Rs. 20,000/-per annum in the 4 th and 5th year.

Top
class education for
SC students
- SC students having total annual family income from all sources up to Rs. 8.00 lakh.
- Will be awarded scholarship to meet the requirements for (i) full tuition fee and non-refundable charges.
- Academic allowance of Rs. 86,000 in the first year of study and Rs. 41,000 in every subsequent year, to take care of living expenses, books and stationery, computer/ laptop of reputed brand with accessories like UPS and printer etc.
- The payment of tuition fee, other non-refundable charges and academic allowance will be made directly to the students by the Central Government through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.
- The students shall deposit the fee to the institute immediately and in any case, within a month of receipt of such payment.
- The benefit of the Scheme will not be provided to more than 2 siblings in a family.
7.National
scholarship for
post graduate studies
- 1. The scholarship is available to the students for the first PG Degree programme only. Students, who have already acquired any postgraduate degree, are not eligible to apply.
- 2. Only the students, who are already admitted in the first year of PG degree programme in an eligible university/college/institution, are eligible to apply.
- 3. In case of integrated programmes, the scholarship shall be given for PG component only.
- 4. Only students who are below the age of 30 years of age as on the date of admission in the first semester/year of a PG programme are eligible to apply under these schemes.
- 5. The scholarship is available only for students who are admitted to PG degree programme through ‘Regular/Full Time’ mode.
- 6. The scholarship is available only for students who are pursuing recognized PG degree programmes.
- 7. Amount is at the rate of Rs.15,000/- per month for 10 months in a year, for two years.
- Department of Science & Technology (DST) has developed an innovative programme named Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)
- Meritorious Students with aggregate marks within top 1% of their Class XII examination of any State/ Central Education Board in India are eligible.
- In addition, the student must be pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at the B.Sc., B.S., and Int.M.Sc./M.S. level.
- The scholarship is valued at ` 80,000/- per annum.
- Applicant should be of Kerala origin.
- Should have qualified Higher Secondary Examination from Kerala.
- Should have qualified Higher Secondary Board Examination with minimum 90% or equivalent grade for all Science subjects put together.(For SC/ST reservation category, the eligibility is stipulated to minimum marks of 80%).
- Should have secured admission for 3 year B.Sc. / 5 year Integrated M.Sc. / 5 year Integrated BS-MS course in Basic or Natural Science (23 subjects enlisted in the ‘guidelines’) in any of the Institutions or Universities in India
