The International Day of Yoga 2025
Yoga Day Celebration 2025 Date: 21.06.2025 Time: 9.00 am to 12.00 am Venue: Indoor Stadium The 28 Kerala Battalion NCC, Ottapalam, centrally organized the International Day of Yoga Celebration at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad with active participation from various institutions under the battalion. The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of 400 cadets from the institutions:MES Kalladi College, DHSS Nellipuzha, KHSS Thottara, KAHS Kottopadam, HSS Sreekrishnapuram, SPTBHS Adakaputhur. The yoga session was led by Ms. Shijina National Yoga Medal Winner and an ex-NCC cadet who guided the cadets through a structured and inspiring yoga practice. Following the yoga demonstration cadets were addressed by several distinguished dignitaries: Colonel S. Sreeram, Commanding Officer 28 Kerala Battalion NCC, Colonel Siji Pillai, Administrative Officer, Wing Commander Jayakrishnan, Alumnus of MES Kalladi College, Prof. Moideen O.A, Head of the Department of Physical Education, MES Kalladi College.The formal proceedings began with a welcome address by Capt. Saithalavi P Associate NCC Officer. The vote of thanks was delivered by ANO Hamza expressing gratitude to the dignitaries participants and organizers. The program was effectively coordinated and led by: First Officer Rajesh, Third Officer Sudeeshgupta, Third Officer Shabeer, CTO Vineesh K.T, CTO Gayathri. The celebration promoted the spirit of wellness, discipline and unity among the cadets marking the significance of yoga in building a healthy and resilient nation.

NCC Day Celebration of 28 (K) Battalion NCC, Ottapalam of 2024 will be held on 16 November 2024 at MES Khiladi college, Mannarkad. cadets from DUHSS Nellippuzha and KHSS Kottopadam will attended the ceremonial function. Guard of honor to the commenting officer, wreath laying ceremony in war memorial ( Amar Jawan) seminar on importance of NCC and Tree Plantation as part of 'One Cadet One Tree' campaign will be held.
