Providing Equal Access and Equal Opportunity
Equal Opportunity Cell
The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) at our college is a dedicated body committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and barrier-free academic environment. Guided by UGC mandates and the inclusive vision of NEP 2020, the cell actively safeguards the rights of Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs), including SC/ST/OBC categories, minorities, women, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). We strive to eliminate all forms of discrimination while providing targeted academic support through remedial coaching, bridge courses, and personalized mentorship programs. The cell also facilitates seamless access to various state, central, and institutional scholarships, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder any student's educational journey. Furthermore, the EOC serves as a confidential and robust grievance redressal mechanism to promptly address any complaints related to bias or marginalization on campus. Beyond compliance and redressal, we regularly organize sensitization workshops and capacity-building programs for both students and staff to promote a culture of social harmony. Ultimately, the Equal Opportunity Cell empowers every student to realize their full academic and personal potential, ensuring that diversity remains one of our institution's greatest strengths.
