World Environment Day
On 5 June 2026, the Department of Food Technology observed World Environment Day by organizing a tree-planting program on the college campus. The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of a greener future. The program was led by Mrs. Athira A. S., Head of the Department, along with Department Coordinator Remya, other faculty members, and students of the department. The participants planted saplings on the campus and emphasized the need to protect and preserve nature. The event was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from faculty and students.
