Bachelor of Computer Application Honours

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Honours programme is an undergraduate course that builds a strong foundation in computer science, programming, and modern technologies. The syllabus includes core papers such as Fundamentals of Computers, Programming in C, Data Structures, Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, Python, Software Engineering, and Operating Systems, along with advanced areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Web Development.

The programme emphasizes practical learning through laboratories, internships, and project work. Skill enhancement and value-added courses like Cyber Laws and Business Intelligence further improve professional competence. Overall, the course develops analytical thinking, programming skills, and problem-solving abilities, preparing students for IT careers and higher studies.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Kerala State Board or any equivalent examination are eligible for admission and higher studies. Applicants must have studied at least one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Informatics Practice, Informatics, or Additional Mathematics.
