BBA Honours

The BBA Honours programme (2024, University of Calicut) is a comprehensive course designed to build strong managerial, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills. It combines foundational, core, and elective papers with practical exposure through internships and projects.

Early papers such as Foundations in Business Decisions, Marketing Management, and Business Economics develop fundamental knowledge of business operations and economic principles. Intermediate courses like Financial Management, Business Analytics, and Strategic Cost Analysis strengthen analytical and decision-making abilities. Papers including Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, and Corporate Governance & Business Ethics highlight leadership, ethics, and organizational effectiveness.

Advanced papers such as Operations Management, Strategic Management, and specialized electives prepare students for diverse career paths. Skill-based courses, internships, AI communication, and projects ensure practical learning and industry readiness.

Overall, the programme equips students with balanced knowledge, professional competence, and real-world business skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Kerala State Board or any other equivalent examination recognized for higher studies.

A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required for general category candidates.

Concession for OBC/OEC Candidates:
A 5% relaxation in minimum marks is provided (i.e., eligible with 40% marks). .

SC/ST Candidates:
Only a pass in the qualifying examination is required; no minimum percentage is necessary.
