A seminar to provide awareness about Giant African snails

Department of Zoology and Department of Botany jointly organised a seminar on Giant African snails; A genetic Odyssey on 14th March 2025 at Botany department. The program was highly focused about the destruction behaviour and control measures of African snails. Welcome speech was delivered by Vismaya H, assistant professor of Zoology department. The presidential address was given by Dr.Sereena K, assistant professor and Hod of Botany department. The program was inaugurated by Dr Rajesh, principal, MESKC. The program was led by , Dr Keerthy VijayanPost Doctoral Fellow Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology,Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur. The seminar was done with the proper interaction with students. The felicitation was held by Dr.Shahina, assistant professor, department of Botany. The vote of thanks was delivered by Faseeh K, assistant professor, department of Botany. The program was held appropriately under the supervision of Vismaya H and Muhasina M, assistant professors, department of Zoology.
