Skill Development Program

The Department of English at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, successfully organized the Interview Masterclass – Skill Development Program on 11 March 2025 at Ambedkar Hall. The event aimed to equip students with essential interview skills and career development strategies. The program commenced with a warm Welcome Speech by Ms. Priya Velayudhan, the Coordinator of the Program, who extended her heartfelt greetings to the esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and students. She emphasized the significance of the event in enhancing students’ confidence and professional capabilities. The Presidential Address was delivered by Sajna A, Head and Assistant Professor, Department of English. She highlighted the role of soft skills in shaping students’ future careers and encouraged them to actively participate in the session. Dr. Rajesh C, Principal of MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, formally inaugurated the event. In his Inaugural Speech, he stressed the importance of such skill development programs in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world professional requirements. The highlight of the event was the Keynote Address by Dr. Hussain Melattur, a renowned Psychologist and International Certified Corporate Trainer. He provided valuable insights into interview techniques, self-presentation skills, and strategies to handle challenging questions. His engaging and interactive session motivated students to develop a proactive approach toward career opportunities. Following the keynote address, a Felicitation speech was delivered by Mr. Sirajudheen P, Assistant Professor, Department of English. He appreciated the organizers' efforts and encouraged students to make the most of the learning opportunities provided. The program concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Ms. Kadeeja Rabia, Assistant Professor, Department of English, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their participation and contribution to the event’s success.The Interview Masterclass – Skill Development Program proved to be an enlightening and enriching experience for all attendees, equipping them with essential skills to excel in their professional endeavors.
