As part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, Department of Mathematics of MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a seminar on Gender Equality and Human Values on March 7, 2025, at Ambedkar Hall. The event aimed to raise awareness about gender equality and emphasize the role of human values in building an inclusive society.The program began with a warm welcome address by Shaharban T H, who greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. HoD Saithalavi P delivered the presidential address, highlighting the significance of gender equality in achieving social justice and empowering individuals.The session was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. C Rajesh, who underscored the importance of gender sensitivity in educational institutions and society at large. The keynote address was delivered by Adv. Arsha S, who spoke on the legal framework for gender equality, societal challenges, and the need to uphold human values in everyday life. Her engaging presentation provided deep insights into the subject and encouraged an interactive discussion among participants.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Safa, the Association Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, and all attendees for their active participation.Organized as part of the Women’s Day celebrations, the program successfully created awareness and inspired students to play an active role in promoting gender justice and human values in society.
