Pre Event of ScaleUp Conclave 2025 at Shifa Convention Centre Perinthalmanna organised by IEDC & IIC

Report on Pre-Event of 'Scale-Up' Organized by IEDC in Association with IIC The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Center (IEDC), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully conducted a pre-event for the 'Scale-Up' startup program on February 11, 2025. The event took place at the Satyajit Ray Audio Visual Theatre and was part of the broader 'Scale-Up' initiative led by Najeeb Kanthapuram MLA at the Perinthalmanna Constituency. The function was inaugurated by Principal Rajesh C., who emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in shaping the future of young professionals. His address highlighted the role of such programs in fostering a culture of innovation and equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate the startup ecosystem. Dr. Sainul Abidin K, the IEDC Nodal Officer, extended a warm welcome to the attendees and set the tone for an engaging and insightful session. The pre-event witnessed active participation from more than 90 students representing various departments, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for entrepreneurship among the student community. The session covered key aspects of scaling up startups, challenges faced by early-stage entrepreneurs, and the importance of mentorship and networking in the startup ecosystem.
