Orientation Program for Competitive ExamsDate: November 11, 2024Venue: MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad                 The Department of Botany & Zoology, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized an orientation program on November 11, 2024, to guide postgraduate students in preparing for competitive exams. The program aimed to provide valuable insights, strategies, and motivation to the students.Programme started with a Welcome Speech by Mrs.Shahana Jasmi A.(Assistant professor on contract, Department of Botany followed by inauguration & presidential address by Mrs.Nazeema K.(Assistant professor,Department of Botany), She emphasized the importance of competitive exams and encouraged students to strive for excellence.The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Sabin Qamaruddin, a Research Scholar at MES ASMABI College, Kodungallur. His insightful presentation covered a wide range of topics, including exam patterns, time management techniques, and effective study strategies. He also shared personal experiences and tips to help students stay focused and motivated.He mainly focused on CSIR-UGC NET and other competitive exams.Interactive Session and FeedbackFollowing the keynote address, an interactive session was conducted to facilitate discussion and clarify doubts. The students actively participated, engaging in fruitful discussions with the resource person.A feedback session was organized to gather valuable insights from the students. Their feedback will be used to improve future programs and tailor them to the specific needs of the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Pooja Suresh, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany & Zoology. She expressed gratitude to the Principal, the resource person, the faculty, and the students for their contributions to the success of the program.The orientation program was a significant step towards empowering postgraduate students to excel in competitive exams. The program provided a platform for students to acquire essential knowledge and skills. The Department of Botany & Zoology is committed to organizing such programs in the future to support the academic and professional aspirations of its students.
