On October 28, 2024, Department of English hosted an inspiring entrepreneurship program titled "Venture Vista" at Ambedkar Hall. The event began at 1:15 PM and marked a historic moment for the college as it featured the inaugural department prayer, which was beautifully sung by the prayer team, setting a positive and uplifting atmosphere for the gathering. The event was anchored by Hiba, a dedicated second-year student, who guided the audience through the proceedings with enthusiasm and poise.Mrs. Anjali, Assistant Professor of the Department of English, delivered the welcome speech, warmly greeting attendees and emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in today's world. Following her, Mrs. Ramlath, also an Assistant Professor in the department, presented the presidential address, highlighting the significance of the event and encouraging students to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit.The inaugural speech was delivered by our Principal, Dr. C. Rajesh, who spoke passionately about the role of entrepreneurship in shaping future leaders and innovators. He underscored the importance of programs like Venture Vista in nurturing creativity and business acumen among students.The highlight of the event was the presence of our chief guest, Mr. Rakesh, a renowned corporate trainer and life coach. He delivered an inspiring session that not only educated the audience about entrepreneurship but also motivated them to pursue their dreams confidently.The program also featured the launch of the Litmuse Club logo, symbolizing the creative spirit of the club.Following this, the Litmuse Club honored Ruksana Miss, who emerged victorious in the NET examination, with a special gift to celebrate her achievement.In recognition of academic excellence, the Litmuse Club also distributed prizes to the winners of various quizzes, including the Gandhi Quiz, Abdul Kalam Quiz, and the Reading Week program. The excitement in the hall was palpable as students received their accolades.Additionally, gifts were presented to the elected representatives of the three-years, who each delivered a brief talk, sharing their experiences and aspirations.The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Sirajudheen P, Assistant Professor of the English Department. He expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and especially to Mr. Rakesh for his invaluable insights. The vote of thanks was also performed by Jumeira, the secretary of the Litmuse Club, ensuring that everyone involved felt appreciated for their contributions. Overall Venture Vista was not just an entrepreneurship program; it was a celebration of creativity, learning. The event successfully inspired students to think beyond traditional pathways and explore the vast opportunities that entrepreneurship offers.
