“Honouring the Legacy of Ratan Tata” Event Date: 15 October 2024 Time: 10:30 AM Venue: Ambedkar Hall, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad On the occasion of World Student’s Day, the Department of Business Administration organized an inspiring program titled “Honouring the Legacy of Ratan Tata.” The event commenced promptly at 10:30 AM, bringing together students and faculty, to celebrate the impactful contributions of Ratan Tata to Indian industry and society. Mrs. Shabna M. K, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, opened the proceedings with a warm welcome. She highlighted Ratan Tata's significant achievements and contributions to business and philanthropy, setting an inspiring tone for the event. Dr. Muhammed Rafi P, Head of the Department, addressed the audience next. He spoke about the importance of leadership and vision in shaping future generations. Dr. C. Rajesh, Principal of MES Kalladi College, delivered the inaugural address. He emphasized the importance of ethical leadership and the role of business leaders in fostering sustainable development. His insights into Tata’s philanthropic efforts resonated deeply with the audience. The event featured several inspiring speeches from final year BBA students: Ummarul Farook spoke about innovation in business practices inspired by Tata’s vision. Khadeeja highlighted the role of corporate social responsibility in modern business, reflecting on Tata’s initiatives. Sana shared personal reflections on how Ratan Tata’s story motivated her educational journey. Sahal discussed the importance of adaptability in leadership, a trait exemplified by Tata. Hiba concluded the student presentations by discussing the impact of Tata’s legacy on future entrepreneurs. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mrs. Sujatha N. K, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration. She expressed gratitude to all speakers, attendees, and the organizing team for making the event a success.
