NEXTGEN ENTREPRENEUR ENTREPRENEURIAL TALK

The resource person for the session was Mr. Jafar Sadik M. K., ASA (CPA), CMA, CEO of IVBM Pvt. Ltd. (India & Saudi Arabia), Cochin United Pvt. Ltd., Mihran International Tours & Travels, and Nidha Institute for Professional Studies. Drawing from his rich entrepreneurial journey, he shared valuable insights into business creation, leadership, innovation, risk-taking, and the challenges of building successful enterprises. He motivated students to think beyond conventional career paths and encouraged them to develop entrepreneurial competencies such as creativity, resilience, adaptability, and effective decision-making. His interactive presentation, enriched with practical examples and real-life experiences, kept the audience highly engaged.

The P.G. Department of Commerce, in association with the ED Club of MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad (Autonomous), organized an Entrepreneurial Talk titled "NEXTGEN ENTREPRENEURS" on 15 July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Thunchan Auditorium. The programme was conducted under the auspices of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) with the objective of inspiring students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and explore emerging business opportunities. The programme commenced with a warm Welcome address by Dr. Fathimath Thasleena K, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. This was followed by the presidential address by Dr. Femina E. P., Head of the Department of Commerce, who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the present economic scenario and encouraged students to cultivate innovative ideas. The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. (Prof.) Jasmin P. M., Principal, MES Kalladi College, who emphasized the role of higher education institutions in nurturing future entrepreneurs. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Manasi, V Semester B.Com Finance, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, Head of the Department, resource person, faculty members, organizing committee, and students for their wholehearted support and participation. Overall, the NEXTGEN ENTREPRENEURS – Entrepreneurial Talk proved to be an enlightening and inspiring programme that enhanced students' understanding of entrepreneurship and motivated them to pursue innovative ventures with confidence and determination.
