Chendumalli (Marigold) Planting Programme

The Department of Botany, MES Kalladi College (Autonomous), Mannarkkad, in association with the Bhoomithrasena Club and Green Campus Initiative, successfully organized the Chendumalli (Marigold) Plantation Programme 2026 on 19 June 2026 at the Vegetable Garden. The programme was conducted with the aim of promoting environmental awareness, sustainable gardening, and campus beautification. As part of the initiative, Botany students actively planted marigold saplings in the vegetable garden, demonstrating their commitment to creating a greener and more vibrant campus. Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated in the activity, making the programme a meaningful step towards fostering environmental responsibility and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the campus.
