World Food Safety Day 2026

The Department of Food Technology at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad (Autonomous) observed World Food Safety Day 2026 with a targeted community campaign on June 8, 2026, at 10:00 am in Kunthipuzha. Guided by the theme, "Shielding Sustenance: Action Against Foodborne Illness," the initiative translated the global mission of turning foodborne burdens into solutions into practical local outreach. To actively promote public health and hygiene, the event successfully combined an educational awareness campaign and informative notice distribution with the practical distribution of house fly traps, reinforcing their core vision: "Safe food today, healthy tomorrow."
