FYUGP Chemistry Bridge Course
Research and PG Department of Chemistry conducted bridge course for first year BSc students (2025-admission) from 21/07/2025 to 28/07/2025 in various subjects. The Bridge Course is thoughtfully designed to support students in transitioning smoothly into a new academic environment, curriculum, or subject area. Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between students' prior knowledge and the expectations of their current academic level. By reinforcing foundational concepts, the course aims to enhance students’ understanding, boost their confidence, and ensure a more seamless adaptation to the new academic framework. The series commenced with an inaugural session led by Dr. Mohammed Musthafa T. N., who provided a comprehensive introduction to the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). His session laid the groundwork for students by explaining the structure, objectives, and benefits of the new academic framework. Following the inauguration, various faculty members took charge of the subsequent sessions, each focusing on different topics covered in the syllabus. These sessions were tailored to familiarize students with the core subjects, clarify key concepts, and provide a solid foundation for the academic journey ahead. Overall, the Bridge Course served as an essential orientation tool, equipping students with the academic preparedness and confidence needed to thrive in their new learning environment.
