Seminar celebrating One hundred years of quantum mechanics.

Report of the Seminar on “Basics of Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Computation” A seminar on “Basics of Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Computation” was organized by the Department of Physics, MES Kalladi College Mannarkkad, and held at Ambedkar Hall. The session, coordinated by Dr. Sebastian Koothottil, began at 10:30 AM and concluded at 12:30 PM. The Principal, Dr. C. Rajesh, formally inaugurated the programme. Ms. Saritha U.K. presided over the session and delivered the welcome address. The resource person and chief guest, Dr. Rohith M., Department of Physics, Government College Malappuram, presented an engaging lecture introducing the essentials of quantum algorithms and quantum computation. The audience comprised students of IV Semester B.Sc., VI Semester B.Sc., III Semester M.Sc., along with faculty members from the Department of Physics. Active interest and participation were evident throughout the session. Akshay of III Semester M.Sc. shared positive feedback appreciating the clarity and quality of the talk. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Sebastian Koothottil.
