The Department of Psychology is organizing a seminar on "Experimental Research and the Need for Cultural Adaptation" in association with Coventry University, UK. The seminar will feature Jyotsna Joseph, Research Coordinator at Coventry University, as the resource person.

The Department of Psychology, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a workshop on the topic “Experimental Research and the Need for Cultural Adaptation” on 16th September 2025. The session was led by Ms. Jyotsna Joseph, Coventry University, UK, as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between MES Kalladi College and Coventry University. The program was coordinated by Ms. Fathimath Sakiya, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, and was attended by students from the first, fourth, and fifth year Integrated M.Sc. Psychology programs. The workshop provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the importance of cultural considerations in experimental research and highlighted how methodologies can be adapted to suit diverse contexts. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to actively engage with the resource person through discussions and queries, making the workshop both dynamic and impactful.
