Debate competition in connection with International Elephant Day

The Department of Botany and Department of Zoology of MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, in association with the Bhoomithrasena Club, Biodiversity Club, and Debate Club, organized a Debate Competition on August 12 to mark International Elephant Day. The program began with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Syama P.S, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology. The Presidential Address was delivered by Ms. Nazeema K., Assistant Professor, Department of Botany and Bhoomithrasena Club Coordinator. The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Rajesh C., Principal of MES Kalladi College. The keynote address was given by P.M Salahudheen, Assistant Professor, Department of History, who highlighted the importance of wildlife conservation, especially elephants. Dr. Sereena K., Assistant Professor, Department of Botany and Biodiversity Club Coordinator, delivered the felicitation address, appreciating the students’ enthusiasm and efforts. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Debate Club Coordinator.
