Participants 110 students and 5 faculty members from the Department of Food Technology Program Details The Department of Food Technology at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, successfully conducted a community extension program titled "Lunch and Love: A day with special children" on October 15, 2025. The initiative was a sincere effort to connect with the wider community and share moments of joy and care with special needs children. A contingent of 110 students and 5 faculty members from the department visited the Faith India Special School in Viyyakkirussi. The core of the program centered on genuine interaction and the sharing of a specially prepared meal. The day’s activities were structured as follows: Interaction and Engagement: Upon arrival, the students and faculty dedicated time to one-on-one interaction with the children of the Faith India Special School.
