NCC Day Celebration

NCC Day Celebration of 28 (K) Battalion NCC, Ottapalam of 2024 will be held on 16 November 2024 at MES Khiladi college, Mannarkad. cadets from DUHSS Nellippuzha and KHSS Kottopadam will attended the ceremonial function. Guard of honor to the commenting officer, wreath laying ceremony in war memorial ( Amar Jawan) seminar on importance of NCC and Tree Plantation as part of 'One Cadet One Tree' campaign will be held.

NCC Day Celebration OrganizedMannarkkad: The 28 Kerala Battalion NCC, Ottapalam, organized NCC Day celebrations at MES Kalladi College. The event featured a variety of programs, including a Guard of Honor, floral tribute at the Amar Jawan War Memorial, a moment of silence, an NCC Day seminar, a "One Cadet, One Sapling" initiative, and cultural performances.The event was presided over by the college principal, Dr. C. Rajesh, while Associate NCC Officer Captain Saidalavi delivered the welcome address. Colonel C.G. Pillai, Administrative Officer of the 28 Kerala Battalion, inaugurated the event with the keynote speech. Associate NCC Officer Lieutenant P. Hamsa from DHS School, Nellipuzha, presented the seminar.The program witnessed the presence of Subedar Major S. Prakasam, Naib Subedar Ramesh, and Havildar Mishra, along with senior cadets like Muhammad Haneen, Vishnu, Amrutha, Sinan, Altaf, Adarsh, Fathima Rishana Alphons, and Subhisha, who extended their greetings.A total of 250 cadets from institutions such as K.H.S.S. Kottoppadam, DHS School Nellipuzha, and MES Kalladi College participated in the event. Saplings were planted across the college campus as part of the green initiative. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by NCC Third Officer Sudheesh Gupta.
