A talk on Urban wildlife,Adapting to city

The Department of Botany and Zoology in association with Bhoomithrasena and Biodiversity club M.E.S Kalladi College, Mannarkkad organized a seminar as a part of wildlife observation week on “Urban wildlife, Adapting to city life” with an aim of providing the necessity of conserving wildlife. The program was was officially inaugurated by College Principal Dr. Rajesh C. After the official inauguration, the seminar was conducted by the resource person Dr. Priya TV, assistant professor, Department of zoology, MES keveeyam College, Valanchery. The event gave an idea about the importance of biodiversity conservation and wildlife conservation. Welcome address was given by Dr. Sereena K, HOD, and Botany, at last, vote of thanks was given by Shahana Jasmi, Assistant professor, Department of botany. The program was started at 1:30pm and ended at 3:15pm under the guidance and supervision of Vismaya H, Assistant professor, Department of Zoology (Program coordinator).
