Program Report: READING WEEK OBSERVATION- 2024 A Talk on ‘Affective Reading’On 20th June 2024, the Department of English conducted an insightful Reading Day Talk on the topic, 'Affective Reading'.Mr. Sirajudheen P coordinated the program and delivered the welcome speech. Ms. Sajna A, HOD. Dept. of English, furnished the presidential address. The session commenced with an inaugural speech by the Principal, Dr. C Rajesh, who emphasized the significance of reading in personal and academic growth. A new initiative of the Department of English- a 'Digital Library' was also launched by the principal. Ms. Ramlath A, Ms. Anjali S, and Ms. Saranya KS extended the felicitations to the program. The resource person, Ms. Shifa Shareef PT, Corporate Mentor and Counsellor, addressed and inspired the audience with her proficiency in the world of books. The BA English students of MES Kalladi College decorated the role of the audience with elegance.The session was dissolved with the vote of thanks by Ms. Sruthy Krishna, II BA English.
