Gender Sensitisation Programme - Redefining Gender Equity in Modern Society

The Research and Post Graduate Department of Economics, MES Kalladi College Mannarkkad (Autonomous), successfully conducted the Gender Sensitisation Program on “Redefining Gender Equity in Modern Society” on 13th February 2026 from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM at Ambedkar Hall. The session was handled by Ms. Uma K, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Najath Arts and Science College, Mannarkkad, who delivered an insightful talk on promoting gender equity, challenging stereotypes, and fostering inclusiveness in modern society. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Jasmine P M, Principal, and presided over by Mr. Ramadas M, Head of the Department, with active participation from students and faculty members. The programme, monitored by IQAC, concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Mini B, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants for their support in making the event a success.
