The Department of English, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a research methodology workshop titled Mastering UG Project: From Conception to Completion on February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The workshop aimed to provide undergraduate students with a systematic framework for planning, conducting, and successfully completing their research projects. The workshop commenced with a warm welcome speech by Ms.Anjali S ( Assistant Professor of English), who emphasized the significance of research skills in academic and professional growth. This was followed by the presidential address by Ms. Sajna A, Head of the Department, who highlighted the need for methodological rigor and originality in undergraduate research. The Principal, Dr. Rajesh C, delivered the inaugural address, where he underscored the importance of research in shaping critical thinking and academic excellence. He also encouraged students to utilize the library resources effectively.The resource person for the workshop, Mr. Muhammedali P, Assistant Professor of English at KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri, conducted an engaging and insightful session. He covered essential aspects of research methodology, including topic selection, literature review, research design, data collection techniques, and effective writing strategies. Through interactive discussions and practical tips, he guided students on structuring their projects from conception to completion. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Class Representative Husna, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, and participants for making the workshop a valuable learning experience. The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for students, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake their undergraduate research projects with confidence and precision.
