Empowering Minds: Tribal Library Visit

Extension activity

The department of English organised an extension programme at the Unarv Tribal Youth Centre and Library, Mukkali with the objective of promoting education.The event combined academic contribution with interactive section.The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech by SOUMYA V. M., BFO. VISHNU V. S. AWLW,SVNP delivered the inaugural address emphasising the role of libraries in preserving tribal culture and knowledge. Ramlath A. Assistant Professor, provided an overview of the programme objective.Then the department of english generously contributed a collection of books to Unarv Tribal Library. Anjali S. Assistant Professor, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of the extension programme. Students then presented topics related to some authors and some books. The presentations were well received by the audience.The programme concluded with a visit to the unarv library were participants explored the collection of books and interacted with the library staffs. The extension programme was a resounding success, fostering meaningful interaction and mutual learning
