Extension activity - A workshop on BLDC technology

As part of extension activity ,PG department of Physics organized a one day workshop on “BLDC Technology” for the selected students of Model Residential School,Attapady. The programme was conducted on 15/11/2024.19 students from M.Sc Physics participated in the programme. Dr.Resmi K.R(H.O.D ) and Dr.Job Sabu K accompanied the students. In the introductory session, Dr.Resmi K.R gave a brief introduction of BLDC technology .With the aid of power point presentation, the students of our department explained the advantages of BLDC motors over the conventional motors. Also they gave a short description of working of BLDC fan. After that the practical session was started. The students showed them how to assemble the components of BLDC fan. After that a quiz competition on ‘ Energy Conservation ‘was also conducted. The students of Model Residential School actively participated in the programme. Small appreciations were given to the winners. Students shared their feedback. Programme was ended with vote of thanks.
