SEMINAR ON “UNLOCK YOUR BUSINESS POTENTIAL: EXPLORING GOVERNMENT SCHEMES FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS " PROGRAMME REPORT The Department of Business Administration, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a seminar titled "Unlock Your Business Potential: Exploring Government Schemes for Young Entrepreneurs" on 22nd October 2024. The programme commenced at 10:30 AM with a welcome speech delivered by Mrs. Shameera M.K. Dr. Muhammed Rafi, Head of the Department of Business Administration, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of understanding government support mechanisms for budding entrepreneurs. The seminar was inaugurated by the Principal Dr. Rajesh. The technical session began at 10:45 AM, led by Mrs. Chithra, the resource person for the event. She provided an insightful overview of various government schemes available to young entrepreneurs in the state. Her session was both informative and engaging, highlighting the incentives and support offered by the Government and the Industries Department to promote entrepreneurship. She further inspired the students by sharing examples of successful entrepreneurs who had utilized such schemes to their advantage. The interactive segment of the session allowed students to clarify their doubts, enabling them to better understand the assistance and support provided by the District Industries Centre (DIC), Kerala, for different types of business ventures. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Devika P.B., expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the seminar a success. The seminar was highly beneficial, equipping students with knowledge about government initiatives and inspiring them to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
