Setting up of Butterfly Garden

Green initiative

Department of Botany, M.E.S Kalladi College as a part of green initiative organized Setting up of Butter fly garden on 08-01-2024. The garden setting was under the supervision of Mr. Dinesh Souparnika (Agricultural trainer, OAT). The programme was inaugurated by College Principal Dr.C.Rajesh by planting Ixora saplings.Around 50 different butterfly hostplants and feeders were planted. The students from BSc Botany were actively involved in the programme.
