NATIONAL MILK DAY CELEBRATION - LACTIMOR

College level milk day competetions

The Department of Dairy Science and Technology, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a week-long celebration of National Milk Day 2024, from 20th to 26th November 2024. The program, titled "LACTIMOR," aimed to promote awareness about the importance of milk and dairy products in our daily lives. The inaugural ceremony was held on 20th November 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ambedkar Hall. Dr. Syama M.A, DEO at Sreekrishnapuram Block, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. An exhibition and sales stall were launched on 20th November 2024 at 01:30 PM at College Wonderland. The stall showcased various dairy products and provided an opportunity for students and faculty to purchase them. As part of the National Milk Day 2024 celebrations, an orientation program and games were organized for VHSE students on 25th November 2024 at Ambedkar Hall from 01:30 PM to 03:30 PM. The program included an orientation on B.Voc. Dairy Science and Technology by Akhila (second year B.Voc. Dairy Science and Technology student), a Q&A session, games, and a debate on the topic "Packaged Milk: Safe or Unsafe." A series of dairy-related contests were conducted on 26th November 2024 at Ambedkar Hall. The contests included a quiz competition, brand identification game, connecting the images, and treasure hunt. Students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the events. The National Milk Day 2024 celebrations at MES Kalladi College were a grand success. The events organized as part of "LACTIMOR" helped create awareness about the importance of milk and dairy products, while also promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the dairy sector.
