BLDC TECHNOLOGY

TRAINING PROGRAMME

PG department of Physics organized a one day Training Programme on “BLDC Technology” for the selected students from B.Sc. Physics and M.Sc Physics. 14 students participated in the programme. The programme was conducted on 1/10/2024. Dr.Job Sabu K was the coordinator and Mrs. Sai Jyothi S was the joint coordinator. Venue of the programme was SJB 201. Mr.Faisal C P, Mirano Technologies was the resource person. The programme started with a silent prayer. Mrs. Sai Jyothi S welcomed the gathering. Head of the department Dr. Resmi K R delivered the presidential address. Our principal Dr. Rajesh C inaugurated the programme. In the introductory session, Mr.Faisal C P explained the theory of BLDC technology. He also explained the advantages of BLDC motors over the conventional motors. He gave a short description of working of BLDC fan. After that the practical session was started. The students were divided into three groups. The resource person showed them how to assemble the components of BLDC fan. The students themselves assembled three BLDC fans. Also two conventional fans from the department were converted into BLDC fans. The training session was very effective.
