Report on “Mathematics: Challenges and Triumphs in the Quest for Knowledge” a Career Guidance ProgramOrganized by the Career Guidance Cell & Department of MathematicsDate: February 3, 2025Venue: Ambedkar Hall, MES Kalladi CollegeThe Career Guidance Cell, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, successfully organized a career guidance program titled "Mathematics: Challenges and Triumphs in the Quest for Knowledge" on February 3, 2025. The event was held at Ambedkar Hall, MES Kalladi College, and aimed at providing students with valuable insights into career opportunities and advancements in the field of mathematics.Principal Dr.C Rajesh inaugurated the program. Shajitha, Coordinator of the program done the Welcome address. Saithalavi P, Dr.Girish KP falicitated , Vote of Thanks is done by Safa, Association Secretary of Mathematics.The resource person for the session was Mr. Mohamed Nishad M, Head of the Department and Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Farook College, Calicut. He delivered an engaging and insightful talk, shedding light on the various challenges and triumphs encountered in the pursuit of mathematical knowledge. His session covered a wide range of topics, including higher education prospects, research opportunities, and the growing demand for mathematical skills in diverse career fields.The program was well-received by the students and faculty members, who actively participated in the interactive session that followed the talk. Mr. Mohamed Nishad addressed students' queries and provided valuable guidance on choosing career paths in mathematics and related disciplines.The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the esteemed resource person, organizers, and attendees for making the session a success. The Career Guidance Cell and the Department of Mathematics look forward to organizing more such programs to benefit students in their academic and professional journeys.
