Career Orientation Program- Botany 2025

The Department of Botany, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, organized a Career Orientation Programme for UG and PG students on 26 th September 2025. The aim of the program was to guide students in exploring various career opportunities in the field of Botany and related disciplines. The session was led by the Resource Person, Dr. Prajith T.M., Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayoor, who delivered an insightful and inspiring talk that highlighted academic and research pathways, competitive exams, and emerging career prospects. The programme began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Faseeh K., Assistant Professor, Department of Botany. The presidential address was delivered by Mrs.Nazeema M.K., Head of the Department. The programme was officially inaugurated by Dr. C. Rajesh, Principal, MES Kalladi College. Dr. Sereena K, Associate Professor,Dept. Botany offered her words of felicitation, appreciating the initiative and the relevance of the programme for students’ future planning. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Shahana Jasmi A., Assistant Professor, expressing gratitude to the resource person and all dignitaries present.The programme was a great success and well-received by the students.
