Scholar Support Programme (SSP)

The Scholar Support Programme of the college is a part of the ‘New Initiatives in Higher Education’ initiated by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala. SSP aims at imparting additional support to students in curricular areas of weakness. The programme would target Degree (B.A./B.Sc/ B.Com) Subjects in which additional curricular support would be offered.  In our college, the programme started during the year 2013-14 for the first-year student. In the consecutive year, 2014-15 extend for three years of the degree program. The coordinator for the programs during 2013-2016 was Mr Mohamed Rafi, department of Asst. Prof. Dept of Commerce and Dr Sreenivasan. K.P, Asst. Prof. Dept of Chemistry during 2018-2019. The Scholar Support Programme aims at imparting personalized additional support to needy students through Tutorials, study materials, additional lectures, question banks and interactive sessions, the formation of Quality circles in colleges for the programme, dissemination of classes through Personal and Web-based modes, external mentoring session etc. The Directorate of Collegiate Education is implementing the Programme. Funds are allotted to colleges for the implementation of the Programme for 40 selected students of the College.
