Code of Conducts Hostel

  • The mens hostel is owned and managed by the MES. Kalladi College Management. The ladies Hostel is Granted by UGC.
  • Disciplinary action may be taken against those who violate the rules & regulation.
  • If the conduct of a hostler is not satisfactory, the Principal and management has the right to dismiss him/her from the hostel without prior notice
  • If it is found at later stages that the information furnished by the resident in his/her application is incorrect or that he/she is not meeting eligibility criteria for admission his/her admission to the hostel will be cancelled.
  • The management reserves the right to add, amend or remove any part or whole of the aforesaid rules and regulation
  • Admission to hostel is only for one academic year & it may be renewed after each academic year. For this the student concerned has to re-apply. Parent should be present at the time of admission & and readmission
  • The admission & readmission will be done at the discretion of the management / principal.
  • All the fees &charges should be paid at the time of admission.
  • Hostel fee for each month should be remitted before the 5 th of next month & the receipt should be collected and kept for future reference. In case of any dispute it should be produced along with the complaints .
  • There will not be any reduction in monthly fee in the case of absence less than 10 consecutive days.
  • The management has the right to change the rate of the fees from time to time and it will be informed to the residents or there will be a reasonable annual increase in the fee
  • Each resident shall keep her room & parts of the building clean and care. Residents have to be always well dressed in the premises.
  • The resident has to bring her own bedding, linen, bucket, Mug, plate, Tiffin box, toilet articles and other personal articles.

  • Do not stick pictures, postures ,or notice on the walls or scribble on furniture and walls.
  • Sanitary pads/towels should be disposed off hygienically in the container provided for the purpose and not in any other place . If any blockage happens in the toilets due to the careless disposal, the repairing charge will be collected from the residents.
  • Sufficient water is supplied. Water wastage is prohibited. All residents should finish their bathing and washing of cloths before 6 P M.
  • Food shall be taken only in the dinning room. Food will not be available after the time fixed for each time. (Break fast 8.30 A M - 9.15A M, Lunch 12.30 PM -1.15 AM., supper 7.30 PM- 8.15 PM). Silence should be observed from 10 PM to 8AM and during study time.
  • Visiting of other room is strictly forbidden.
  • Switch off the lights at 10 PM to 5 AM in rooms.
  • Incase of mobile phones and laptop for use in special circumstances written permission from the warden should be obtained after paying the stipulated fee for it. Mobile phone can be used only at times stipulated time by hostel authorities from time to time. They should not use the Mobile phone other than the specified time. Using mobiles other than the specified time may lead to the fine of Rs. 500/- and the use of mobile phone inside the living room is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule may lead to the dismissal. In case of any violation mobile phone will be confiscated and permission for using mobile phone will be cancelled for such person.
  • For participating in any other activities other than the regular class in the college, inmates should get prior permission after submitting a written request to the warden.
  • Inmates are not permitted to go out of the hostel campus before 8 AM and they should come back after the class. Nobody will be permitted to stay out of the hostel aftter 6PM. Violation of this will Iead to the automatic removal of the in mates from hostel.
  • Only in urgent cases the students are permitted to go out of the hostel. In such situation they should get prior permission from the warden and should be recorded in the movement register kept by the watchman.
  • A ny one found intoxicated will not be allowed to continue to stay in the hostel. Inmates should not possess or consume intoxicating drinks in any form.
  • Electrical & Electronic equipments should not be used by the inmates in their rooms with out prior permission of the warden.
  • No political activities or union activities are allowed inside and the hostel premises.
  • A ll students going for and returning after holidays should inform the warden well in advance about the time & date of arrival.
  • If a resident goes out for a short while for any purpose, he/she should get written permission from warden and enter in the movement register.
  • Parents & the close relatives can visit the students only between 8AM and 6PM. with the permission of warden. Other visitors are not permitted.
